Our tortoise was created by Level 3 Art and Design students at Highlands College. It was inspired by the rewilding work of Durrell, and influenced by Eywa, the protective entity from James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’. The design reflects the aspiration of rewilding, to help nature repair and restore itself, supported by conservation.
