Kintsugi

The concept for this tortoise combines several elements that come together to form a whole, just like the title suggests. ‘Kintsugi’ is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with gold. This reflects the incredible work that Durrell undertakes to regenerate and save endangered species across the globe.
