Bieau P'tit Jèrri

‘Jèrri’ reflects the joy and vibrancy of the island and his name means ‘beautiful Jersey’ in Jèrriais. The design references the stunning patterns of beautiful tortoise shells – visit Jersey Zoo to spot the incredible patterns for yourself! Admittedly real tortoises might have fewer bright colours but they’re just as exciting! Jèrri’s kaleidoscope shell also references an area in Jersey Zoo called ‘Butterfly Kaleidoscope’ where you can see a Galápagos tortoise! Jèrri’s artist, Amy, is a Doctor of Fine Art, specialising in oil painting and drawing.
