A big thank you to everyone who took part in our Tortoise Takeover raffle! 

The prize draw was made at Jersey Zoo at 12 Noon on 18 September 2023. 

Money raised by this raffle will go towards improved and more sustainable reptile and amphibian facilities at Jersey Zoo, allowing the team to continue the exemplary care they provide for these precious species.

2nd prize winner Rose Laurent: VIP tortoise experience, for four people, behind the scenes at Jersey Zoo with our expert keepers* 

3rd prize winner Ellie Faulkner: One night stay in our luxury camping pods at Durrell Wildlife Camp for a family of four. **

Terms & Conditions 

  • This raffle is open to adults over the age of 18. Durrell staff and immediate family are unable to take part in this raffle. 
  • All profits raised from this raffle will go to Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. 
  • The prize is strictly non-transferable and no cash alternative. 
  • The winners will be notified in person or via email or telephone as soon as possible after the draw date. Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase. 
  • All entries into the raffle are final and no refunds will be made at any time. All entrants acknowledge that their payment to enter the raffles does not guarantee that they will win a prize. 
  • All tickets must be returned to Jersey Zoo by 6pm on Sunday 17 September 2023. 
  • All prizes to be collected from Jersey Zoo.
